Cute gifts 09.04

My professor that I have been doing research for gave me a USB for gift. I attached the hello kitty chain that my friend mailed to me from China to the USB. My friend wrote in the note that "the hello kitty has a bell so that you can hear it if your stuff is still with you." How sweet!

Thank you all! 08.29

My friends did me a great favor today by driving me to San Francisco for an exam at 7 am on Sunday morning. I cannot thank them enough. Then I received many encouraging texts from Alex that wished me good luck. The texts reminded me of the time when we used to work hard together. We have always supported each other and stood behind each other. After I came back home, my roommates made me my favorite Chinese dish-eggplant chicken "box" to celebrate.

I am one of the luckiest to have all these nice people in my life!

NASA surprise 08.23

My bestie surprised me with a mail that came in this morning. It was a NASA International Space Station 2010 Calendar together with three telegraphic cards. That's the best gift I have received for a long time! My roommate started to call me a "space freak". haha I don't mind.

Since the calendar fits perfectly in my binders, I am going to use it as my planner so that I can carry it with me every where.

Thank you! ~hug!

Night breeze 08.22

I walked out of my apartment to call my friend. While we were talking, the night breeze gently caressed my hair and skin. I wish my friend in NYC could also feel such cool air mixed with summer fragrance.

Keep working hard 08.18

After a hectic summer's hard work, today I finally got in touch with a few companies that I really admire and dream of working for. The encouraging news again confirmed my faith that if things didn't work out, that's because you didn't work hard enough.

I will keep pursuing my goal of turning my passion into my career.

P.S, thank you for your support Alex!
